Have You Mastered Your Tongue Yet?

Have You Mastered Your Tongue Yet?

Never forget that the words of your mouth have the potential to tie or release your destiny. (Prov 6:2, Prov 18:21)
If you must gain control of your entire soul and destiny then you must be in control of your tongue.
If you don’t bridle your tongue, you will bite it one day.
Ask the Lord to teach you how to refrain from talking when it is not necessary. (Job 29:9-10) Avoid making negative utterances as they go a long way to tie up your desire or destiny while attracting the opposite to you.
Avoid making negative utterances when provoked.
Whenever you are angry or provoked leave the scene. The enemy is fond of provoking people just to receive from their mouth the rope he will use to ensnare their soul, desire, and destiny, ( Psalm 39:1) Learn never to give the enemy the rope for him to tie up your life.
A negative word before the wicked is just as potent as the word of faith before God. If you will not stop speaking doubts and fear, than it is no use speaking in faith.  This is a passport to confusion and spiritual conflict. You can’t have results that way.

Controlling your tongue is your responsibility. David said,  “ … I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress”

( Psalm 17:3 Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast visited me in the night; thou hast tried me, and shalt find nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.

  Learn to speak precisely.

Ecc 5:2-3   Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.   For a dream cometh through the multitude of business; and a fool's voice is known by multitude of words.

Ecc 6- 7     Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands? For in the multitude of dreams and many words there are also divers vanities: but fear thou God.

3.      Construct your words from the word of God. You have to be in God’s word daily to be able to do this effectively.   Learn to hear and see from the Word and speak only from that platform at all times.Take advantage of divine presence to make divine utterances.

Psalm 17:2   Let my sentence come forth from thy presence; let thine eyes behold the things that are equal.

Under the anointing or the manifestation of His presence provides you with the lifetime opportunity of getting it the way you want it.

Remember that God is not pleased with any negative utterance that comes from your mouth in His presence.

Num 14:28 Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you:

Ecc 5:2 Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.

Since you don’t know when the Spirit will manifest and knowing that He is always with you, you cannot afford to speak doubt, fear, or worries if you want good results. The bible says, “…Let the weak say I AM STRONG…”

Beloved, you have got to hold fast the word until your heart’s desire manifests. Never allow yourself to be bothered by what you are seeing but keep confessing, keep professing, keep pulling and one day you will see your heart’s desire. Your goals in life shall be attained. Your dreams shall become a reality in Jesus name
